What is gang stalking? How did it come about? What is the goal?

A quick google search of the term give us

Gang stalking, also known as group stalking, is a belief system where someone is convinced that they are being followed, harassed, and monitored by a large group of people. People who identify as victims of gang stalking are often called "targeted individuals" (TIs).

TIs often believe that they are being monitored by government agents using physical and electronic surveillance, such as microwave technology. They may also believe that their adversaries are trying to discredit them by making them appear disorganized or unkempt. TIs may also be the target of harassment techniques such as baiting, entrapment, and gaslighting.

TIs often seek to prove their claims by posting videos online. However, some have committed violent acts, including the 2013 Navy Yard shooting.

Among the community of targeted individuals, gang stalking is described as a shared experience where the gang stalkers all coordinate to harass individuals, and the individuals share their victim experiences with each other.

The framing of A US Department of Justice prevalence study, which used a tight definition of stalking that required the victim to experience fear, found that 6.8% reported stalking by three or more people, and were “unable to identify a single offender” or “could not identify an offender who was singularly responsible” ang-stalking as a "belief system" is as harmful as it is hurtful. I know what I am experiencing and seeing that in the first few lines of la google search of the phenomena is discouraging to say the least.

Upon further review of the search results I located a study commissioned by the US Department of Justice

I cannot identify any of my stalkers,* I can identify with a level of absolute certitude who would want to inflict this harm on me. This certainty comes as a product of my experiences and knowledge  and relationships current and former.  I need only ask myself "Who in my life do I know has the means, motive, and opportunity to inflict these intentionally malicious  coincidences that have repeatedly occurred in my life? A pattern of coincidences cannot be a coincidence. The fact that these thing as they were occurring did not at all seem to have any connection but the fact that there were occurring at such a high rate and without fail seemingly only to me, is no coincidence. There is malicious intent here and if I contemplate on the Who What when and Why of this I could only come to one conclusion. The fact that this person also knows a near executive level director at my job who I'd not-so recently noticed were also gaslighting me, also not a coincidence.

As for the how did it come about part, I'm hoping to uncover this in the near term but the obscurity in which this organization operates is more than one person with a ton of motivation but few resources can do alone. ****Send Help!!!*******
